Just another day in paradise

Don't have much to say today.  I'm still feeling the effects of the whole internet/social media burn out thing and just doing those things that must be done.  That restless feeling has consumed me, but I don't know what I'm restless about.  I hate when that happens!

Hope you are all having an awesome day :)

Happy Hump Day!

Another phase of computer burnout has hit me . . . real life is just too much fun and I am working on way too many projects at the same time.  Ok . . . the projects are in the planning stages of my mind and I have simply been this slug-like creature after a string of stressful and hectic events this past month or so.  It catches up eventually!

I've had to switch the television channel over to the Food Network and DIY since the news has been getting me down.  Since Donald Trump bowed out of the presidential race (at least for now), politics has become boring and uneventful.   The tornado devastation that never seems to end has really gotten me down . . .  seeing so much tragedy makes me feel helpless and depressed.

The weather has become really hot and humid, but the tomato and pepper plants love it :)  The insect population is booming and we have been invaded by a host of mosquitoes, wasps, nasty grasshoppers and hornets.  I'm happy to report that the snake population has diminished to the point that we have not seen one in a very long time . . . gotta love all the cats that love to hang out on the property.

Happy Wednesday . . . hope your week has been more productive than mine.  I'll be back with a listing of my blog posts for all of my blogs :)

We are back!

The Captain and I are back online after a not-so-amusing adventure . . . I won't bore you with the details.  I see that Blogger followed suit and decided to poop out completely for quite a stretch of time.  What's up with all the Blogger problems lately?  Not a good week!

We did manage to have a fun outing and visited Ybor City, the historic district of Tampa . . . but wouldn't you know it, we forgot the camera!  It was an awesome escape to the past days of old Tampa with the cobblestone streets and so many cool childhood memories.  There were many things we didn't do or see, so we will returning soon . . . with the camera and post about it on My Florida Paradise.

One of my favorite people in this whole world got married again . . . Paul McCartney.  Hopefully she won't let him down like the last one did.  The following is a video featuring one of my favorite Paul McCartney songs . . . not one of my videos, but I am working on a series of music videos featuring my favorite Paul McCartney songs.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Life Happens

As the saying goes "when it rains, it pours" . . . and we are in the midst of life happening and not much time left for the computer.  We will be back to "normal" very soon!

In the meantime, I will be scheduling some future posts that will automatically appear on my blogs . . .

Happy Mothers Day to all you mommies out there . . . hope your day is surrounded with the love of family :)

The Sound of Silence

"The trees, the flowers, the plants grow in silence.
The stars, the sun, the moon move in silence.
Silence gives us a new perspective."

Mother Teresa

Justice has been served . . . Osama Bin Laden is dead.

What a news-packed week and isn't it ironic, I don't have much to say since I'm not feeling well after dealing with a toothache this weekend.

Hope your weekend was better than mine!
